The CatholicCare Story

As the social services agency of the Catholic Diocese of Toowoomba, CatholicCare provides a range of services to promote individual, family and community wellbeing.

From humble beginnings in 1983 of lunchtime counselling sessions conducted by volunteer workers, CatholicCare now employs approximately 50 staff and over 170 volunteers that service an area of nearly 500,000km2 in Southwest Queensland.

Services include the Family Support Program (Counselling, Education and Family Dispute Resolution), Toowoomba Refugee and Migrant Support (TRAMS), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples Service, and Mental Health Services (including Partners in Recovery).

Our Strategy

Over the next three years, we will build on the success and growth accomplished in our operational maturity with the
following four strategic commitments. This approach affords a framework for evaluating the impact and success of our
efforts over time in a demanding and ever-changing environment. Each of these strategic commitments will be delivered
and measured through a variety of activities, plans and reports.
